Jimmy McGill

A Los Angeles native with no formal art training, Jimmy McGill’s fascination with found objects started when, at a young age, he would piece together unhappy faces from broken vinyl records, marbles and tennis racquets. With his unchecked teenage OCD kicking in, his work became much more detailed and patterned.

It’s a style that would carry over into adulthood and unique hand-crafted solid assemblage work consisting of painted wood tiles, sheet metal, wire, hardware and acquired treasures.
